Summary:
The Repair Technician position is a very hands-on role that requires sound troubleshooting skills and skilled use of hand tools and hand-held power tools.
Ideal candidates will enjoy troubleshooting product failures (both electrical and mechanical), like getting their hands dirty, and take pride in quality workmanship.
The repair center is located at our manufacturing facility in Prescott, WI and services all models of Kasco products that are sent in from the field in need of maintenance and repair.
Repair Technicians work as independent contributors in a team environment and are encouraged to contribute to our continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Repair and production personnel are a valued team who help make Kasco the industry leader in quality and service.
General Accountabilities:
Troubleshoot and repair all of Kasco's product lines.
Cross train to build new product in multiple work cells to fulfill customer work orders when repair volume is low.
Communicate clearly with customer service team in the office on progress and details of customer repair orders.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
1-2 years of related experience.
Small engine repair experience preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Demonstrate ability to safely lift up to 90lbs.
Regular attendance is required.
Skills:

Required to stand for long periods of time.
